» MasterStudyclub - Purchasing seminar
The second MasterStudyclub activity organised by study association Industria and the Student Supply Chain Forum is coming. This time it will be a seminar about purchasing.
The evening will be chaired by Prof.dr. A.J. van Weele. The two participating companies are Heineken and PromOcean. Heineken would like to present the way that they organise their purchasing activities and how the function of purchasing has developed. They will focus on the challenges in purchasing. PromOcean (part of the Li & Fung group) is one of the biggest companies in Europe that focusses on sales and distribution of promotional items. During their presentation they will focus on corporate social responsibility, with regard to ‘green purchasing’.
The seminar will take place at 16:30 - 22:00 hours on Tuesday the 16th of March, at the Multimediapaviljoen (across the street from the Paviljoen). Dinner and drinks are included and participation is free of charge. Please note to sign up before the 9th of March and the capacity is limited.
